The Majlis Resort Lamu, Lamu

The Majlis Resort boasts beautiful interiors, spacious rooms, and a lovely pool and beach, creating an idyllic setting for relaxation. However, the dining experience left much to be desired, with slow service and bland food consistently disappointing. Management seems to lack the necessary oversight, which tarnished an otherwise promising resort. I’m uncertain about a return unless significant improvements are made.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the location and room size were fantastic, the dining experience and service left much to be desired. The room was spacious and offered stunning views, but the dining was disappointing with long waits and bland food. The staff were friendly, but management seemed indifferent to issues raised, which put a damper on the experience.
